Let me tell you about the worst — and best — moment that led to KitWell.
It was 2015. Fresh pharmacist's degree in hand, newly married, and finally on our honeymoon. The trip was perfect. Until my wife tripped, fell, and broke her leg.
There I was — a literal pharmacist — scrambling around an unfamiliar city looking for the right medicines, the right dosages, the right anything. The irony wasn't lost on either of us. She still hasn't let me forget it.
That trip changed everything. Since then, I don't go anywhere without a carefully packed kit of essential medicines. Not to a weekend trip. Not to a work conference. Not anywhere.
From the Pharmacy to Your Bag
I've been a licensed pharmacist since 2015, and I've owned my own pharmacy for years. Every single day, I see the same thing — people coming in panicked, unprepared, looking for something they should have had at home. A fever at 2am. An allergic reaction on a trip. A stomach flare-up the night before an important meeting.
It's always the same story: "I thought I had it at home" or "I didn't think I'd need it."
The truth is, you never think you'll need it — until you do.
Why KitWell
I built KitWell because no one should have to Google "nearest pharmacy" when someone they love needs help right now.
Every medicine in the MedKit was chosen by me personally — not based on what's popular, not based on what's cheapest, but based on 10+ years of seeing what people actually need in real emergencies and everyday situations.
